In 1973, a group committed themselves to renovating and furnishing the “church parlor.” With volunteer workers and $ commitments from a fund drive, the parlor was transformed into an attractive “Memorial Room,” which is often used for small group meetings and receptions.

After a number of years of study and planning, a major renovation of the sanctuary was undertaken in 1977. The project was financed by 3 years of church supporters and a major fund drive. Recognition was given to Mrs. Marilyn Wolf and Mr. David Bibbons for their tireless energies and leadership in seeing the project to fruition. The renovations included rebuilding the altar area, paneling, carpeting, and a new coat of paint.
