In 1922, the first charter was adopted for the church to become the sponsor of a Boy Scout troop. In 1953, the church released the troop’s charter to the newly formed Pembroke Men’s Club for sponsorship. The troop was returned to the church at a later date however, and our relationship with Troop 270 has been a productive and rewarding one. The Troop has served the church many times and in many ways to show their appreciation for our sponsorship.
