Good afternoon . . .

Christmas is getting closer every day! I hope you are prepared and anticipating a joyous holiday. It’s been a tough year, hasn’t it? The older I get the more I anticipate the Lord’s return or my departure 🙂

Jesus put it this way . . . John 16:33 I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

So although I may struggle here on earth, I have a blessed hope in Christ. The closer I am to Him, the more my heart beats with His. When we are synchronized with God’s Will, the easier our struggle is, here on Earth.
Isaiah 9:6-7 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.  Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.

Don’t let fear override your faith . . .

I pray you will have a blessed Christmas and I hope to see you Sunday!

Blessings, Pastor Duffy
