Dear Friends in Christ,

Now that I am getting my feet wet and a bit more immersed in the water (so to speak), you can see that creativity is one of my God-given gifts.  I am gradually learning the names of many of you, and look forward to the day when I can call each one of you by name with confidence.

What a busy place this has been lately!  Easter here was awesome, and it is my hope that you all enjoyed being in worship together to celebrate Christ’s resurrection.

From my vantage point, it seems that folks had a very good time at our Line Dancing event.  Many people were on hand for the dance, and even though some did not dance (including me), it looked as though everyone who attended simply had fun!  Could we do this more often?

Hosting the Barnstormers was a real pleasure, although also a great amount of work.  I thank all of the volunteers who set up tables, cooked turkeys, served the meal, picked up and returned the risers from the Derryfield school, cleaned up after the meal, washed dishes, and set out food for refreshments for everyone – including the beautiful cookies that Diane made!  I hope I have not forgotten anyone!  Hosting this group was a HUGE success, I would say!  The Barnstormers were very grateful for our gracious hospitality.

After a trial of working in the church office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have determined that a better schedule would be to coordinate with Diane’s hours more.  Therefore, I plan to be in the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  If any of you would like to meet me at a different time, I would be happy to accommodate you.  Please call me either at the church (603.485.9639) or at my home (603.746.5189) to set up an appointment.

Thank you!

Peace,
Pastor Betty
