Good afternoon . . .I wanted to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving! I said in my video devotional this week that Thanksgiving was one of my favorite Holidays. No frills, presents, parties, or gifts. Simply good food, good friends, and a wonderful family. I also stated that Thanksgiving is a state of mind . . We are told to be Thankful by attitude rather than circumstances!

Colossians 3:15-17 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful16 Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts17 And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanksthrough him to God the Father.

What are you thankful for? Sometimes we forget the little things that the Lord has blessed us with in our lives. Be sure and express your thankfulness out loud because it helps us to center our lives spiritually.
I wanted to thank all of you who donated Shoe boxes for Samaritan’s Purse. I believe you will be a great encouragement to little children all over the World!

Also, a special thanks to Mike Michaels and his son Kyle, for replacing our monitor in the Parish Hall this week.

The Lord is good, and not just because He is good to us!!
