Winter brings many challenges from ice, snow, and cold weather. We all know people who are less than happy about these challenges. It may even be us :)Life also brings us many challenges as The Book of James reiterates.
James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. We have been studying the Book of James on Sunday morning. James is called “The Proverbs of the New Testament”. He teaches a theological and practical way to approach life’s challenges. Our attitude can often guide our future outcome. Perseverance is the key, knowing that good can come from difficult circumstances.
James 1:12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.Trust God to help you through prayer, and call upon others to encourage and support you in your time of need. Please never hesitate to call me when you are going through a tough time. As a servant of Christ, I desire to minister to you.
Make good decisions and choose godly friends and “never sacrifice the future on the altar of the immediate”. Hang in there and wait for God’s blessings!

Hebrews 3:12-13 See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. 13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
