Good afternoon . . .
I hope you are having a good week. Still sunny and hot but soon Fall will be here 🙂
- We will continue using the PowerPoint in the Parish Hall for those who desire it.
- We also have activity crafts for kids in the Parish Hall.
- Friday at 10:00AM we will have a Celebration of Life service for Dale Cimikowski. She graduated from Pembroke Academy.
One of my favorite Scriptures is . . . 1 Corinthians 15:58 So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.Maybe you have felt that your service for Christ is not productive or not bearing fruit. God reminds us that the things we do for Christ always have value. The Harvest will come if we do not grow weary in planting it.
Sometimes we need to refocus our attention on Christ and away from ourselves by helping others. Is there something you can do for a neighbor, friend, or co-worker? Does you family need some encouragement? Think of someone you can encourage today. Maybe a note or a card, or even a compliment.
Blessings, Pastor Duffy
Galatians 6:9-10 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. 10 Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone-especially to those in the family of faith.
