1976	Pembroke celebrates Bicentennial with a week of scheduled events.
1976	Fire Department moves into new quarters on Pembroke Street.
1981	Pembroke Library moves into its new quarters on Pembroke Street.
1981	Joseph Robinson receives first annual Citizen of the Year Award.

1976	The church celebrates Pembroke’s Bicentennial with a special service of worship.
1977	Service of Dedication for Sanctuary renovations.
1977	Everett Farnum recognized for his 60+ years of service to the church.
1979	Easter Dawn Service held “on the hill” (conference center) for the last time.
1979	First Laotian refugee family arrives in Pembroke.
1983	250th anniversary of the church.
