1930 Selectmen to take action in establishing free mail delivery in the town.
1938 Cement sidewalk built along Pembroke Street.
1939 Actual annual cost for instruction per pupil at Pembroke Academy: $87.36.
1946 Gideon N. Petit, Jr. elected to 1st of 13 terms as Town Moderator.
1949 Old wooden water lines abandoned and 1st of the town wells dug.

Our Church

1930 Dorcas Mission Group organized by Rev. Earl Buchin’s wife, Priscilla.
1933 The church’s 200th anniversary celebrated.
1940’s Pilgrim Fellowship formed by and for the young people of the church.
